Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lbs chicken tenders
- 12-16 slices of bacon (thin-cut, one slice per tender)
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp smoked paprika (optional, for extra flavor)
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with foil and place a wire rack on top for even cooking.
- Prepare the Seasoning Mix:
- In a small bowl, combine the brown sugar, smoked paprika, garlic powder, and black pepper.
- Wrap the Chicken in Bacon:
- Wrap each chicken tender tightly with one slice of bacon. Secure the ends with a toothpick if needed.
- Coat with the Brown Sugar Mixture:
- Sprinkle the brown sugar mixture generously over each bacon-wrapped tender, pressing lightly to adhere.
- Bake the Chicken Tenders:
- Place the chicken tenders on the prepared wire rack. Bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the bacon is crispy and the chicken is cooked through (internal temperature of 165°F or 74°C).
