Tremendous Crockpot Beef Tips & Noodles
Ingredients
- 2 lbs beef stew meat or beef sirloin tips, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 packet (1 oz) onion soup mix
- 1 packet (1 oz) brown gravy mix
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 cup water + 2 tbsp cornstarch (for thickening, optional)
- 12 oz egg noodles
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Prepare the Crockpot:
- Add the beef tips to the crockpot. Sprinkle with onion soup mix and brown gravy mix.
- Make the Sauce:
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the beef broth, cream of mushroom soup, Worcestershire sauce, and black pepper until smooth.
- Add Aromatics:
- Stir the diced onion and minced garlic into the sauce, then pour it over the beef tips in the crockpot.
- Cook:
- Cover and cook on low for 7-8 hours or high for 4-5 hours, until the beef is tender.
- Thicken the Sauce (Optional):
- If you prefer a thicker sauce, 30 minutes before serving, mix the water and cornstarch to form a slurry. Stir it into the crockpot and allow the sauce to thicken.
- Cook the Noodles:
- About 20 minutes before serving, boil the egg noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Serve:
- Spoon the beef tips and sauce over the cooked egg noodles. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
