Luxurious Beef Pasta in a Creamy Garlic Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef sirloin or ribeye, thinly sliced into strips
  • 12 oz fettuccine, penne, or your favorite pasta
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp dried Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • Extra Parmesan for serving

Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta:
    • Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside, reserving 1/2 cup of pasta water.
  2. Sear the Beef:
    • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the thinly sliced beef and sear for 3-4 minutes until browned on all sides. Remove the beef from the skillet and set it aside.
  3. Make the Creamy Garlic Sauce:
    • In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium. Add butter and minced garlic. Sauté for 1-2 minutes, being careful not to burn the garlic.
    • Add the beef broth and Worcestershire sauce to the skillet, stirring to combine. Bring to a simmer for 2 minutes.
  4. Add the Cream:
    • Stir in the heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, and Italian seasoning. Let the sauce simmer for 5-6 minutes, allowing it to thicken. Season with salt, black pepper, and crushed red pepper flakes if using.
  5. Combine Beef and Pasta:
    • Return the cooked beef to the skillet and stir to coat in the creamy sauce.
    • Add the cooked pasta to the skillet, tossing everything together. If the sauce is too thick, add a little reserved pasta water to achieve your desired consistency.
  6. Serve:
    • Serve the pasta in bowls, garnished with fresh parsley and extra Parmesan cheese.
