Krispy Kreme Peach Cobbler

Here’s a delightful Krispy Kreme-inspired Peach Cobbler recipe! This dessert combines the sweetness of glazed donuts with juicy peaches and a touch of spice. It’s easy to make and perfect for a crowd.

Ingredients:

For the Cobbler:

  • 6 Krispy Kreme glazed donuts (or similar glazed donuts), cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 6-8 fresh peaches (or 2 cans of peaches in light syrup, drained)
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar (adjust based on sweetness of peaches)
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch (if using fresh peaches)

For the Topping:

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1/2 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven
    Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish or similar-sized dish.
  2. Prepare the Peaches
    • If using fresh peaches: Peel and slice them. Toss with lemon juice, sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla, and cornstarch.
    • If using canned peaches: Drain them well and toss with the same ingredients (skip the cornstarch).
  3. Layer the Dish
    Spread the peach mixture evenly across the bottom of the prepared baking dish. Scatter the donut pieces evenly over the top.
  4. Make the Topping
    In a bowl, mix the melted butter, flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and milk until smooth. Pour the batter evenly over the donuts and peaches.
