Ingredients
- 4 ripe tomatoes, diced
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1-2 jalapeño peppers, finely chopped (seeds removed for less heat)
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- Juice of 1 lime
- 1/2 tsp salt (adjust to taste)
- 1/4 tsp black pepper (optional)
Instructions
- Combine Ingredients:
- In a medium bowl, mix the diced tomatoes, chopped onion, jalapeño peppers, and cilantro.
- Add Lime and Seasoning:
- Squeeze the lime juice over the mixture and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Toss everything together to combine.
- Taste and Adjust:
- Taste the pico de gallo and adjust the salt, lime juice, or jalapeño level according to your preference.
- Chill and Serve:
