Sausage Cream Cheese Crescents

Ingredients

  • 1 lb breakfast sausage (pork or turkey)
  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tbsp ranch seasoning mix (optional, for extra flavor)
  • 1 can (8 oz) crescent roll dough
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional, for added flavor)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven:
    • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. Cook the Sausage:
    • In a skillet over medium heat, cook the breakfast sausage until browned and crumbled. Drain any excess grease and set aside to cool slightly.
  3. Prepare the Filling:
    • In a medium bowl, combine the cooked sausage, softened cream cheese, and ranch seasoning mix (if using). Stir until the mixture is smooth and well-combined.
  4. Prepare the Crescent Rolls:
    • Unroll the crescent roll dough on a flat surface and separate it into the individual triangles.
  5. Fill and Roll the Crescents:
    • Place a generous spoonful of the sausage and cream cheese mixture on the wide end of each crescent roll triangle.
    • Roll up the dough starting from the wide end, ensuring the filling is enclosed inside.
  6. Bake the Crescents:
