Tips for Success
- Coffee Boost: The coffee enhances the chocolate flavor but can be replaced with water for a milder taste.
- Extra Moisture: Add 1/4 cup sour cream or Greek yogurt for an even richer texture.
- Nut-Free Option: Skip the nuts if preferred, or substitute with chocolate chips.
Variations
- Spicy Kick: Add a pinch of cinnamon or cayenne pepper for a cowboy-inspired twist.
- Caramel Drizzle: Top with a drizzle of caramel sauce for extra decadence.
- Sheet Cake Style: Double the frosting recipe for a thicker layer.
